our standards
good food. thoughtfully made.
We’re creating littlefolk around a simple idea: real food, recognizable ingredients, and less work at mealtime.
Our products are in development. Final ingredients, nutrition and sourcing details will be confirmed before launch.
our product-development goals
short ingredient lists.
A recognizable protein or vegetable, a little olive oil where needed, and real herbs and spices.
every ingredient named.
See what goes into each proposed recipe, right down to the seasonings.
organic sourcing.
Organic ingredients are part of our sourcing goals. Salmon sourcing is being developed separately.
gently seasoned.
We’re developing recipes with flavor from herbs, spices and familiar ingredients, with low sodium as a formulation goal.
nothing artificial.
Our recipe brief excludes artificial colors, flavors and preservatives.
no added sugar.
We’re building recipes around the flavor of the ingredients themselves.
tested for little ones.
Before launch, every recipe goes through independent checks. Here’s what that means:
nutrition review
Every recipe is analyzed so portion sizes, protein and sodium fit little appetites. Final nutrition panels ship on the pack.
food-safety testing
Each batch is produced under food-safety plans with microbial testing, so every pouch and bite is as safe as it is simple.
pediatric guidance
Age guidance and texture are reviewed with pediatric feeding specialists, so you can serve with confidence.
Testing and validation are in progress. Final nutrition, age guidance and heating times will be published before launch.
a short list. a lot to love.
Our recipe brief starts with the food on the front of the pack. A little olive oil. Real herbs and spices. Every ingredient named, every ingredient there for a reason.
herb chicken
proposed ingredients
organic chicken breast, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic rosemary, organic garlic.
sweet potato
proposed ingredients
organic sweet potato, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic cinnamon.
broccoli
proposed ingredients
organic broccoli, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic lemon juice.
Real herbs and spices are welcome, each named on its own. What we leave out of the brief: fillers, gums, added starches, maltodextrin, protein isolates, yeast extract, flavor enhancers, added sugars and opaque “natural flavors” or seasoning blends. That’s a choice about clarity, not a claim that every unfamiliar ingredient name is harmful.

more about our sourcing goals
Organic and low-sodium claims require supplier documentation, certification where applicable, and recipe-specific testing before launch. Salmon sourcing is being developed separately; we do not claim organic salmon.
Our meat sourcing goals include no added hormones and no antibiotics. Federal regulations prohibit hormones in poultry; any chicken hormone statement must include that qualification.
Final labels will identify applicable allergens. We do not claim allergen-free facilities, and certification marks will only appear once certification exists.
